What we collect

Nothing about your QR code content by default. All generation happens in your browser. Your URLs, WiFi passwords, vCards, and other inputs never leave your device unless you explicitly use the optional URL shortener.

What we use

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records aggregated page views without cookies or personal identifiers. We never see your IP address or fingerprint.

Short URL Service (opt-in)

The QR tool itself is 100% client-side and requires no upload. The URL shortener is a separate, opt-in feature on the URL tab. Only when you click “Shorten URL” is that URL sent to our same-origin shortener (/api/shorten, Cloudflare Pages Functions + KV — free tier, same domain as this site).

We then store only a short ID (4–5 characters) → long URL mapping and a click count, so the short link /s/<id> can redirect. We do not log your IP address, User-Agent, or Referer. We apply a best-effort per-IP rate limit (about 20 requests per minute) to prevent abuse; the counter is kept in KV and expires automatically.

To request deletion of a short link, email us at the address on the Contact page. We will remove the mapping from our database within 7 days. No other QR content you generate is ever sent to our servers.

Advertising

The site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google may set cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out via Google's ad settings or use an ad blocker.
