Most QR code generators upload your content to a server. We don't.

This tool is built around one principle: your data stays in your browser. Every QR code is generated client-side using JavaScript. No server ever sees what you're encoding.

It's free because we believe useful web tools shouldn't require accounts or payment. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising.

How it works

The QR code standard (ISO/IEC 18004) defines a way to encode text into a 2D pattern. The qrcode library implements this in pure JavaScript. We render the result to a canvas, optionally composite your Logo, and let you download it.

We also offer a free URL shortener (same domain, Cloudflare Pages Functions + KV — entirely free tier) that you can use from the URL tab. The QR generation itself always stays 100% in your browser; the shortener is opt-in and only sees the URL when you click “Shorten URL”. Short links look like /s/Ab3x (4–5 characters) and redirect via a same-origin 302.
